we are creating today's tally stones.
Tallystone is inspired by humanity’s continuous pursuit to solve the problem of commercial trust.

5,000 years ago, Mesopotamian merchants tallied traded goods using soft blocks of clay, with signatures often pressed into the surface to validate the exchange. The clay ledgers were rendered secure and inalterable by baking them into tablets as hard as stone.
The hardened blocks were submitted to public archives and, in the event of a dispute, consulted as the ultimate authority of truth. We are creating today’s tally stones.
